ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Patricia Rankin has been an educator for over twenty-six years and a school counselor for over twenty years. She was an elementary school counselor at Daffron Elementary in the Plano Independent School District where she served for over sixteen years. Pat believes school counseling is a vital part of the educational process and the best of professions because of the opportunity to directly assist students, teachers, and parents and make a positive difference in many lives.
