ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Vickie Hester is a certified Texas educator with advanced degrees in education and curriculum design. Dr. Hester believes in the Pass the TExES program; using these strategies, she scored in the 90th percentile on all her TExES examinations. She currently serves as an Academic Coordinator with one of the nation’s largest urban school districts, as well as an author and curriculum writer.
Judy Mattair retired from Spring High School where she taught mathematics and served as the department chair. She received a B.S. from Stephen F. Austin in 1969, a M.Ed. from Texas A&M in 1977 and a Ph.D. from Texas A&M in 1981. Her teaching experience ranges from fifth grade through graduate level courses. Included in the several teaching awards she has received is the Presidential Award for Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching.
Paola Dolcemascolo has a B.A. and an M.S. in Biology and has been interested in Science since she could speak. She teaches Biology courses at Essex County College in Newark, NJ, and when she's not in Newark, she's in Sicily. Besides teaching Science, Paola works as a freelance translator, writer, and pharmaceutical market researcher
