Pass the TExES Theatre for test #180, by Eileen Eberhardt, M.A., is an excellent book designed to provide excellent content by including a detailed chapter for each competency, as well as very helpful study methods and test taking strategies in the style of all of the Pass the TExES books. ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Eileen Eberhardt received a B.F.A. in acting from the School of Fine Arts, Boston University, followed by a position with actress Geraldine Fitzgerald’s NYC Everyman street theatre company. She has co-founded three theatre companies and assisted the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center in plans to renovate its state-of-the-art facility. Eileen has also worked with Gateway Playhouse and the Hampton Theatre Co.
Her directing career includes such challenging works as Camelot, Tartuffe, The Importance of Being Earnest, Nicholas Nickleby, Our Town, Twelfth Night, The Miracle Worker, Twelve Angry Jurors, Anne of Green Gables... to name a few; she wrote/produced original stage pieces and penned adaptations of Shakespeare’s As You Like It and Twelfth Night for production by children.
Ms. Eberhardt received her M.A. in Theatre from the State University of NY at StonyBrook, and NYS secondary teaching certification in English and Speech. Now in California, she has co-authored a full-length comedic screenplay directed Biloxi Blues, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Young Actor’s Company in Los Angeles.
