ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Betsy Banks-Golub
After earning her BSN from Rush University in 1984, Elizabeth Banks-Golub
entered the world of medical and educational publishing. Whenever possible,
she has combined hospital-based clinical work, in both Chicago and Houston,
with education. Passing on what she's learned, whether through formal
instruction or informal patient teaching, has always been a priority to her.
Over nearly two decades, she has written educational materials for many
publishers, including Scott Foresman, Holt, Delta Education, EDI, Harcourt,
McGraw-Hill, and many more. Much of her work has focused on helping students
pass state-specific science and health examinations. Having taken state
licensing exams herself, she is delighted to help others who are facing a
similar challenge.
When not working, Elizabeth enjoys reading, writing, cooking, decorating,
gardening, and spending time with her husband, Mark, her two children, and her
rambunctious puppy, Truman.
